!Feliz Navidad!

We're celebrating an eve of sorts tonight, our last night in continental South America because tomorrow we fly to The Navel of the World, Te Pito o Te Henua otherwise known as Rapa Nui or Easter Island.

These pictures are from Cobquecura, a sleepy little cowboy town on the coast of Chile. We stayed five nights in a little cabin, drank wine at the beach, saw a rodeo, went to a disco and kicked tumbleweeds.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! Happy New Year too!

Your Rodeo pictures reminded me of a fiesta we went to in Spain...Oops travel envy showing again. We wish you both a very Merry Christmas, it will certainly be a memorable one. Thinking of you often, love, Theresa.

Hi Kristen and Mike:
Wow! Sounds like fun town. Into the wine again! Good for the heart though, he,he. Love the shot of the cowboy on the horse and you on the beach. What's with the little bubble clouds? Pictures are all great. You'll talk about this trip for a long time...miss you and love you lots. Wishing you the best Christmas ever!

Hi Mike and Kristen

Wow! Your sight is amazing. With a new baby and a three year old, this is my first chance to look at the site. The pictures are amazing and the write ups are great. I will have to live vicarously through you, since Derm and I won't be taking any trips any time soon. Look forward to all the "news" from Easter Island! Take care and Happy New Year!

Hey you lucky ducks! Travel suits you both. Happy New Year, I know this one will be memorable. Halifax wasn't quite the same with out you when I was there, but I'm sure you're out in this wild world someplace leaving your mark on everyone you meet. Soak it up and stay safe and warm!
